The Sesamie Course- Acampada Sesamo.

I was supossed to go to a sort of scout conference this weekend. I was all set to go but I sort of fell down the stairs in the subway and messed up my anckle.

The motto for this weekend was "I'M GOING"and they gave us badges with that.My badge changed,"I'm not going". (scoul...)

Se suponía que tenía que ir a una acampada llamada "sesamo" de los scout. Estaba lista para irme pero me caí en el metro (me ahorraré los detalles embarazosos) pero el resultado final es que he terminado escayolada. La chapita que nos dieron ponía "yo voy" y bueno,la mía cambió.

Cleaning up my bedroom I found these drawings I did nearly 3 years ago!!I'd like to beleave I´ve improved but in order to remind myself of past challenges I thought I'd post them and keep them digital!I'll post something more recent soon enough but I enjoyed this stroll into the past..

Estaba limpiando mi habitación y haciendo sitio a todos mis papelotes cuando me encontré con estos dibujos!!Son de hace casi 3 años..puede que pronto 4..Espero haber mejorado pero tampoco es que tenga muchos retratos con los que compararlos..enfín quería pasarlos a un formato digital para ya tenerlos localizados asique aprovecho y los subo.Ya subiré algo más reciente pronto.

The Last Dino...

This is te first drawing for artjumble; a large group of people who draw something every week sharing the same topic and I just loved the first one;DINOSAURS! I actually hate dinosaurs but when I get to draw them in a cartoony sort of way they get to be real fun!

Este este es el primer dibujo que hago para "artjumble."

Es un grupo de gente que se propone un tema en común cada lunes. Esta semana tocaba dinosaurios, un tema que a mi personalmente no me gustaba nada porque previamente he tenido que hacerlos a estilo americano pero a este;mas cartoon me gusta muchísimo mas el resultado.

Ok this is just some random topic we came up with in class...It was just a fun experiment,everyone was invited to try it out;draw your own version of a RURAL ZOMBIES..yes,indeed...a rural zombie, that was the theme for this month.They are going to come up with silly themes just for the fun of it in Esdip(class) and I just thought, what the heck...why not?let's go for it, and here is my little contribution..

Vale, este es un tema que surgió en clase,fué un pequeño experimento al que todo el mundo está invitado...el tema de este mes ha sido ZOMBIES RURALES...si en efecto..zombis..la idea es inventarse temas absurdos de vez en cuando y ver qué trae la gente,es entretenido...Asique me dije;¿por que no?Asique aquí está mi pequeña contribución...

THE LION KING'S MUSICAL-el musical del Rey Leon.

This is a proyect for class. It's acrilic paint, we had to draw out own versions of a movie or play, or in my case a musical.

I don't know if it shows but I'm dying to go and see this one!We don't get it here in Spain but I'm willing to go to London for a weekend and watch it, It looks too amazing to miss it!!!

Anyway it's been buzzing in my head for weeks now and I got the chance to use it for this so...I'm happy...(The actual colors are a lot brighter in the original drawing but the scanner didn't pick them up 100% so this is what I managed to get).

Este es un proyecto hecho a acrilicos para clase, teníamos que dibujar nuestras propias portadas para alguna pelicula u obra, en mi caso elegí un musical. Tengo unas ganas increíbles de ir a ver este musical (¿se nota?), tiene una pinta increíble. Llevaba semanas rondando mi cabeza hacer algo sobre este tema y me pareció la ocasión perfecta para poder lanzarme a hacerlo. (Los colores eran mucho mas intensos en el original pero ya se sabe lo que pasa con los scaners, the cogen las tonalidades que quieren).

Enfín, aquí está mi interpretación del cartel para el musical del rey león.

scout badges-insignias de ranger.

These are the new badges my group is introducing for the rangers.We decided they were going to organise 4 different proyects. They've been divided into 3 groups and to achieve each of these badges; nature, culture, group unison and lucrative. They have to play a day out based on one of these themes and organise the whole thing themselves.We will grant them with the badges if we all decide they've made a good job of $it.They will get the badges during the longer camps we have through out the year.

Estas son las insignias que vamos a utilizar este año en la rama ranger.Decidímos que es iban a organizar 4 proyectos distintos durante el año. Han sido organizados por patrullas y para conseguir estas insignias deberán organizarse ellos mismos la salida al completo. Dicha salida tendrá como temática uno de estos cuatro objetivos; naturaleza, cultura, grupal y ocio.

Al terminar la salida se valorará si lo han hecho bien y en función de eso se les dará la insignia en navidades, semana santa o el campamento.

16th century-siglo XVI

This was something I had to do for class..We all got different ages down history lane and I ended up with the 16th century..I had to do my best and given the circumstances...I think I did o.k. It wasn't my finest hour but I got it done and I'm not too disapointed..so here is my "historical piece."

Esto es algo que he tenido que hacer para clase..a todos nos dieron ambientaciones distintas y a mí me tocó el siglo XVI. He intentado hacerlo lo mejor posible aunque está claro que este no es mi fuerte..de todas formas creo que tampoco ha salido demasiado mal asique aquí lo cuelgo..

I've got a pal in amsterdam and I don't know...I miss her... so I remembered she was complaining about the weather...Come back to the spanish winter...you get rain but you get a car too!!miss ya!come home soon.

Tengo una amiga en amsterdam, fiel seguidora de mi blog ejeje y bueno me acordé que se quejaba un poco del clima....nada como el invierno español....aqui habrá lluvia tambien pero tenemos cochecillos..XD enfin que vuelve prontito!!!bss!

TRIBUTE TO BOB MARLEY-TRIBUTO A BOB MARLEY

I went to a concert last thursday, it was in a place called SIROCO.They normally play reggae music but they have an annual tribute to Bob Marley so they play his songs and the place gets pretty full...I'd never heard reggae before but it was cool..this was my little pic of that day..

Fui a un local de reggae el jueves pasado que se llamaba Siroco...nunca había escuchado esa musica pero resulta que era una noche especial porque hicieron un tributo a Bob Marley. Cantaron alguna cancion conocida de este y me gustó el ambiente; este es mi pequeño dibujillo de esa noche..

I´ve been away for the last 15 days so this has been pretty empty..here comes a new collection..these are all the people I met while I was away...These are the scout leades of the course of MSC 2008.
